Five Below to open in Augusta on Sept. 19

A store with products for “tweens, teens and beyond” is slated for a Sept. 19 opening.

Five Below is set to open its new Augusta location in the space formerly occupied by Party City in the Augusta Exchange Shopping Center, 249 Robert C. Daniel Jr. Pkwy.

Five Below offers “trend-right, high-quality products loved by tweens, teens and beyond,” according to its website. Most items are priced between $1 and $5 with “some extreme value items priced beyond $5.” Products include tech, tees, sports balls, beauty products, candy and remote-controlled toys.

“Let loose and explore the hundreds of Five Below products that jump, fly, zoom, boom, bounce, float, taste, connect, and pop in eight different worlds: Tech, Style, Room, Play, Create, Party, Candy, and New & Now,” the website continued.

The first Five Below opened in Pennsylvania in 2002. There are now more than 1,800 stores nationwide. The Augusta store is one of three opening in Georgia this month. Other stores are coming to Morrow on Sept. 12 and Moultrie on Sept. 26.

The Augusta Exchange store is the third in the area. A Five Below is located in Mullins Crossing in Evans and in Aiken at the Aiken Exchange, 2529 Whiskey Rd. Suite 415.
