Fair rides, food and games at AikenFest March 26-April 5

AIKEN – AikenFest brings your favorite fair rides, food and games to the Western Carolina
State Fairgrounds from March 26 to April 5.

With more than 25 rides including The Beast, Himalayan, two brand new rides (The Flying Dumbos and
a flower cup kids ride) and more, there’s something for the whole family, according to a news release. From corndogs to turkey legs and those amazing fried Oreos, there’s plenty of great food to enjoy.\

Try to win a prize playing one of the many midway games. An Easter egg hunt sponsored by Chandler
Law Firm will be held at 2 p.m. April 4 for three age groups. There also will be pony rides and a
petting zoo.

Gates open at 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Closing depends on the
crowd and weather.

Tickets are on sale now at AikenFestival.com. Online tickets purchased by March 25 cost $20 and include gate admission and unlimited rides. During AikenFest, tickets cost $5 for gate admission; $25 for unlimited rides and gate admission Monday through Friday; and $30 for unlimited rides and gate admission on weekends. Gate admission is free for kids 5 and younger.
