An Instagram post with a “Please wait here” sign and a light tune appropriate for putting a caller on hold announce the news of Emil’s opening at 10 a.m. Sept. 10.
Located at 902 Broad St., Emil’s is “part café, part coffee bar, part self-pour taproom — stitched together with a lot of butter, a little grit, and a healthy sense of humor,” according to Emil’s website.
The newly renovated spot at the corner of Broad and Ninth Streets will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
