Columbia County road construction March 25-29

Road work continues in several spots in Columbia County this week.

There will be intermittent, temporary lane closures on the Lewiston Road Diverging Diamond Interchange from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 25-29 weather permitting.

Intermittent, temporary lane closures are expected at the Furys Ferry Road and Hardy McManus Road intersection between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. March 26-March 29.

Also, there will be lane closures on South Old Belair Road due to paving between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. March 25-29.

Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, according to a news release from Columbia County. Motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route or allow additional time for commuting during this timeframe.
