Cliff Sanders Sr. Memorial Bowl set for Nov. 18

Two Augusta Recreation and Parks Department youth football games are on tap Monday as part of the 2024 Cliff Sanders Sr. Memorial Bowl.

The 12 and under finals will be at 6 p.m. with the East Raiders playing he ISI Wolverines, and the 10 and under finals will be at 8 p.m. with the South Augusta Outlaws playing the Eagles at the David Dupree Memorial Stadium, 1339 Laney Walker Blvd., according to the city of Augusta website.

The event is named in honor of Sanders who coached for the Augusta Recreation and Parks Department for 32 years. He died in 2007.
