CHEF’STORE to mark Augusta grand opening Aug. 23

The US Foods CHEF’STORE will mark its Augusta grand opening on Aug. 23.

Located at 102 Mason McKnight Jr. Parkway near Floor and Décor and Boot Barn, this is the second US Foods CHEF’STORE to open in Georgia, according to the store’s website. A business preview is scheduled for Aug. 22.

“Whether you’re a restaurant pro, food truck owner, or just love stocking up on kitchen staples, we’re bringing fresh ingredients, quality supplies, and wholesale convenience — all under one roof,” the website said.

The grand opening event will include food sampling, product giveaways and raffles.

The CHEF’STORE caters to those in food service industry, but it also serves as a “one-stop-shops for home cooks as well,” the website said.

Products include wholesale food items, such as meat, seafood, produce, bakery supplies, bar and beverage supplies, canned and dry ingredients, frozen foods from appetizers to entrees and industrial kitchen supplies.

“Our history with the foodservice industry runs deep and our focus has been on helping small, independent operators keep their costs low, without sacrificing the quality of their food products or industrial kitchen supplies,” it said.
