The Butler boys’ basketball team won their second consecutive AA Region 4 Championships on their home court on Friday, Feb. 13.
Butler maintained a tight lead throughout the game with Burke County continuing to fight and keep close.
Senior Kwamane Bridges led all scorers with 23 points in the victory.

Last season, the Bulldogs won their first state championship since 1966. With an improved regular season record of 20-4, the Bulldogs will be looking to repeat history by winning back-to-back state championships.
The AA boys’ basketball state playoffs will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 25. The times and opponents are to be announced.
