Bulldog 100 Awardees include Augusta area businesses

The University of Georgia Alumni Association honored the 2023 Bulldog 100,  the 100 fastest-growing alumni operated or owned businesses on Feb. 18 in the West End Zone of Sanford Stadium. Four Augusta area businesses were on that list.

This year, businesses represented 10 U.S. states and two countries, with 86 of the businesses located in the state of Georgia, according to an In total, 129 alumni representing over two dozen industries, including health care, financial services, agriculture and real estate, are being recognized as a part of the 2023 Bulldog 100, according to a news release.

“It’s our privilege and honor to recognize these alumni, to connect them even more to the greater Bulldog network, and to celebrate the spirit of innovation that every Bulldog carries,” said Meredith Gurley Johnson, executive director of the UGA Alumni Association, in an article at the University of Georgia website. “We were thrilled to welcome these Bulldogs back to campus, and we look forward to continuing to celebrate their growing impact in their communities, industries and businesses.”

Crawford and Breazeale Drug in Lincolnton, Nimmons Malchow Johnson law firm, Milestone Construction and Showpony were the four area businesses honored.

Crawford and Breazeale Drug Company is a full-service, local, independent pharmacy in Lincolnton, Georgia. They specialize in traditional pharmacy services with an emphasis on immunizations, medication therapy management, med sync, home delivery and COVID-19 therapies, according to the University of Georgia website.

Nimmons Malchow Johnson Nimmons Malchow Johnson is a personal injury law firm representing those who need a voice in workers compensation and personal injury cases. Since 1985, Nimmons Malchow Johnson has been providing clients throughout Georgia and South Carolina with one-on-one, personal attention, the UGA website said.

Milestone Construction is a commercial contracting company providing preconstruction, construction management, general contracting and design-build services. Founded in 2012 with offices in Athens and Augusta, Milestone builds exceptional structures and even better relationships with clients on projects like office, retail, health care, industrial, education and more.

Showpony celebrates brands through beautifully designed, curated, and produced custom merchandise. They create designs that are wearable and customized with the brand mission in mind. It was the second consecutive year Showpony made the list.
