Augusta University sophomore Zoe Pinillos heads to the NCAA golf regionals after winning the Southland Conference Golf Championship April 16 in San Marcos, Texas.
The Jaguars finished in fourth place as team. Texas A&M – Corpus Christi won the event with Houston Christian and East Texas A&M tying for second place.
Pinillos, who is from Peru, led the tournament from Day One. She went 2-under on Monday and was at even par on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Junior Marine Legentil finished in 11th place after shooting a 78 Wednesday.
