Augusta University to play in NCAA volleyball tournament as No. 6 seed

The Augusta University women’s volleyball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in program history after earning the No. 6 seed in the NCAA Southeast Region.

The Jaguars will face No. 3 seed Anderson in the opening round on Dec. 4 at Cuddy Arena in Wingate, North Carolina. This will be the first meeting between the two programs this season, according to a news release from Augusta University Athletics.

1:30 p.m. | #2 Lenoir-Rhyne vs. #7 Lander
4 p.m. | #4 Carson-Newman vs. #5 Flagler
7 p.m. | #1 Wingate vs. #8 Emmanuel

Friday, Dec. 5
4 p.m. | AND-AUG Winner vs. LR-LU Winner
7 p.m. | CN-FC Winner vs. WU-EC Winner

Saturday, Dec.6
4 p.m. | Region Championship Match

This marks Augusta’s eighth NCAA Tournament appearance since 2014, with previous trips in 2014, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. (The NCAA Tournament was not held in 2020 due to COVID-19.)
