The Augusta-Richmond County Public Library System announced July 31 the grand opening of its new Tech Hub, located on the second floor of the main branch of the Augusta-Richmond Public Library.
A grand opening is set from 1 to 4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 2.
The public can access podcasting equipment, video editing equipment, production software, a button maker and more with just a library card.
“With the addition of the New Tech Hub, the Augusta-Richmond County Public Library System continues its mission of enriching the lives of the community,” said Library Director Emanuel Sinclair Mitchell.
The features of the Tech Hub include:

● 4 PC’s with Adobe Creative Suites
● 1 Nikon D780 4K Photo Digital Camera for videography, still shots, and streaming

● 2 handheld microphones
● 2 DJ Headphones
● 1 MPK Mini Keyboard and BEATS Music Production Starter Kit
● 1 Sound Mixer
● 2 Sphero Bolt Robots to play and learn with advanced robotic devices
● VHS converter to digitize VHS videos
