An Evening of Southern Storytelling: Rick Bragg in conversation with Brian Panowich

Join the Augusta University Writing Project for an evening of stories, laughter and Southern charm with Rick Bragg, Pulitzer Prize winning author of 12 books including: “All Over but the Shoutin’,: “Where I Come From: Stories of the Deep South” and his most recent, “The Speckled Beauty: A Dog and its People.” Come and welcome the New York Times Bestselling writer as he talks candidly with acclaimed novelist, Brian Panowich, about family, tomato sandwiches, and the Southern experience.

The event will be at 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 22 at Maxwell Theatre, 2500 Walton Way.

Sponsored by The Augusta University Writing Project, The Graduate School, The College of Education and Human Development and the Augusta Authors Club, tickets are $6 for student (AU, K-12 and other college) and AU faculty and staff with JagCard: $10 AU Alumni, Senior (60+), Military (active and retired) and $12 general admission.
