Aiken Fest brings fair fun April 3-13

Aiken Fest brings 21 of the most popular fair rides for adults and children, famous fair food and fun games for the whole family to the Western Carolina State Fairgrounds April 3-13.

The Beast, Vertigo, Full Tilt, Starship, Himalaya and a variety of children’s rides as well as everything from hot funnel cakes and slow-roasted turkey legs to fried Oreos and fresh-squeezed lemonade will be part of the event.

Advanced tickets are on sale until 5 p.m. April 3 at AikenFestival.com. For just $21.98, patrons get gate admission and unlimited rides. After that the price is $5 for gate admission only; $25 weekdays ($30 weekends) for unlimited rides (Includes Gate Admission); free admission for kids 5 and under.

The fun begins at 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
