The hymn might be about Peace in the Valley, but on Friday, there was joy in the Valley as Midland Valley narrowly defeated North Augusta 49-48 to claim the Region 4-AAAA title at LL Willis Stadium.
The Mustangs remain undefeated on the season chalking up their 10th win. They will head to the playoffs Nov. 3.
North Augusta finishes the season with a 7-3 overall record and 3-1 region record.
