NORTH AUGUSTA – SRP Federal Credit Union unveiled its first mobile branch with a ribbon cutting ceremony July 24.
The event marked a milestone in the credit union’s commitment to expanding access and meeting members where they are. The occasion, according to a news release from SRP Federal Credit Union. The new mobile branch will bring convenient financial services directly to communities across SRP’s 10-county field of membership, extending the credit union’s reach beyond traditional branch locations.
“At SRP, we exist to serve our member-owners in everything we do,” said Shana Reid, Chief Development Officer of SRP Federal Credit Union. “Our new Mobile Branch is a reflection of that commitment, allowing us to bring financial services directly to the
communities where people live, work, learn, and gather.”
The SRP Mobile Branch reflects the credit union’ continued commitment to expanding access to financial services across the
communities it serves. A fully equipped financial center on wheels, the unit offers many of the same services available at traditional branches, including ATM access, debit card services, loan applications, and more at convenient locations throughout the CSRA, the release continued.
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests had the opportunity to tour the SRP Mobile Branch, meet the team behind the initiative, and explore a map highlighting the locations the Mobile Branch has served since its initial launch. To date, the Mobile
Branch has traveled across SRP’s branches and visited hubs in communities across Georgia and South Carolina, extending the credit union’s reach beyond its traditional footprint.
