Broadway in Columbia County announces 2026-2027 season

Broadway in Columbia County brings several Tony-Award winners into the Columbia County Performing Arts Center for the 2026-2027 season.

The season debuts Nov. 24 with Tony Award®-winning, original Broadway sensation “Jersey Boys”. They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. Go behind the music and inside the story of Frankie Valli
and The Four Seasons, according to a news release from Columbia County.

Next up is “A Beautiful Noise” on Jan. 13, 2027. Created in collaboration with Neil Diamond himself, this is
the uplifting true story of how a kid from Brooklyn became a chart-busting, show-stopping American rock icon.

The season continues on Feb 4, 2027, with a powerhouse performance of “The Wiz”. This groundbreaking twist on “The Wizard of Oz” changed the face of Broadway—from its iconic score packed with soul, gospel, rock, and 70s funk to its stirring tale of Dorothy’s journey to find her place in a contemporary world.

Following that is the empowering musical “Waitress”, inspired by the beloved film and featuring music by grammy® award winner Sara Bareilles. “Waitress” tells the story of Jenna, an expert pie maker who dreams of a way out of her small town. It will be presented March 1.

On May 4 is the fabulously fun “Legally Blonde – The Musical” follows the transformation of Elle
Woods as she tackles stereotypes, sexism, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.

And closing the season June 9-10 is the Broadway fan favorite “Beetlejuice!” Based on Tim Burton’s beloved film, this hilarious musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently
deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes.
