Aiken Pro rodeo returns June 19-21

AIKEN – The best cowboys and cowgirls in the region will saddle up for Aiken Pro Rodeo for three days at the Bridgestone Arena at the Western Carolina State Fairgrounds.

In honor of America’s 250th birthday, the theme is Ride, White and Blue Aiken Pro Rodeo, from June 19 to 21, is sanctioned by the International Pro Rodeo Association and will include eight events that count toward World Championship titles: bareback riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, tie down roping, cowgirls breakaway roping, team roping, cowgirls barrel racing and bull riding

In addition to the rodeo events, guests can enjoy the beer garden and food trucks. County Road 49 performs live on Friday. A high‑energy band that blends Southern rock, the blues and country, the band delivers a powerful, crowd‑pleasing sound rooted in raw musicianship and genuine passion.

Shoemaker Equipment Supply will provide Father’s Day giveaways on Sunday.

To ensure everyone’s safety, Aiken Pro Rodeo has a clear bag policy for all attendees. There will be a security screening at the entrance, and all children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 25 years of age or older.

The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday with gates open at 4 p.m. On Sunday, gates open at 2 p.m. and the rodeo starts at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $20 Friday and Saturday: $15 Sunday, $10 for Ages 6-13 and free for children under 5. Cash at the gate (ATMs are available) and online at AikenRodeo.com.
