Augusta University Volleyball lost three sets to one against Lander on senior night and the Jags’ final regular season home game on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The Jaguars now move to 22-7 overall and 10-3 in league play, while the Bearcats improve to 17-8 and 9-4.
Augusta lost the first two sets 25-20 and 25-15 before winning the third set 25-21. The Jaguars would get out to a strong lead, but Bearcats went on a 14-2 run to win the fourth set 25-21 and secure the match.

Rival USC Aiken will host Augusta in the Jaguars’ final two regular season matches. Match One will be on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. Match Two will be on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m.
The Women’s Volleyball Peachbelt Conference Tournament will begin Nov. 21, followed by the NCAA Southeast Regional on Dec. 4.
