‘Archer’ voice actor to appear in improv night at Le Chat Noir

A night of spontaneous storytelling and quick-thinking humor is on tap for Saturday at Le Chat Noir.

Amber Nash best known as Pam Poovey on FX’s hit animated series “Archer” joins Greg Tavares, Charleston improv veteran where he’s co-founder of Theatre 99, for “A Night of Improv Comedy” at 8 p.m. For tickets, go here.

“Together, Nash and Tavares bring decades of experience, chemistry, and pure comedic instinct to the stage — performing a fast, fearless show built entirely from audience suggestions. The result? A performance that’s never been seen before and will never happen again,” according to a news release.

“We’re not just making it up — we’re making it funny,” said Tavares. “And when Amber’s in the mix, it’s guaranteed to go hilariously off the rails in the best possible way.”

A bonus for people interested in learning more about the craft is a special daytime workshop

How to Create Awesome Scenes: The Join + the 2nd-Beat Hack” will be from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday. For tickets, go here.
