Aug. 28 meeting to gauge interest in Columbia County theater group

An Aug. 28 meeting is designed to gauge interest in starting Columbia County’s own theater group.

Troy Lewis will be heading the meeting scheduled for 6 p .m., Aug. 28, 2025 at the Columbia County Library, 7022 Evans Town Center Blvd., Evans.

The proposal will be presented in the downstairs meeting room at the Columbia County Library, followed by questions.

“We believe there is room for a new theatre company to put on more stage productions. This proposal will outline the concept, and we hope volunteers will be interested in helping to found the new theatre troupe,” Lewis wrote in an email.

All meeting attendees will be eligible to enter a raffle held at the end of this meeting for two tickets to the upcoming Presidential Dinner Theatre show “Tea for Three” on Fort Gordon.
