The Starlight Gala promises to be an unforgettable night, featuring live musical performances, a gourmet dinner, dancing, and a silent auction, all in support of the theatre’s mission to bring the magic of live theatre to Aiken and surrounding communities. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Aiken Community Theatre’s year-round productions, educational programs and outreach initiatives, according to a news release.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the arts while helping us continue to create vibrant, inclusive, and educational theatre experiences,” said Mary Beth Westbrook, Gala Committee Chair. “The Starlight Gala is not only a chance to enjoy an evening of glamour and fun, but also to make a lasting impact on the future of the arts in Aiken.”

The event will feature live performances, a catered dinner buffet, a silent auction with unique items and experiences donated by local businesses and artists, special recognition of Aiken Community Theatre’s supporters and patrons and awards to special volunteers in honor of their dedicated service to the organization and the opportunity to donate to youth scholarships and educational programming, the release said.
“We hope to fill the room with theatre lovers, community advocates, and supporters who share our passion for bringing the arts to life,” said Vivian Johnson, Artistic Director. “Every donation, ticket sale, and sponsorship helps us continue our mission to serve the Aiken community through arts education and accessible performances.”
