Top young talent returns for Nike Peach Jam’s 29th year 

NORTH AUGUSTA – Nike Elite Youth Basketball Peach Jam’s 29th tournament tips off July 14 and continues through July 20 at Riverview Park Activities Center. 

Nike Peach Jam features most of the top high school basketball recruits in nation and brings colleges coaches and even some NBA players to watch the young athletes compete at the highest level. 

Some of the high school recruits competing include ESPN’s 2026 Top 100 No. 1 recruit Tyran Stokes (Oakland Soldiers), No. 2 ranked Christian Collins (Team Why Not), No. 3 ranked Jordan Smith (Team Takeover), No. 4 ranked Jason Crowe (Oakland Soldiers) and No. 6 ranked Brandon McCoy (AZ Unity).

Familiar faces from some local CSRA high school players are featured as well. They include Cross Creek Guard Dontrell Jackson (Jet Academy), North Augusta Guard Jordan Rouse (Jet Academy), Cross Creek wing Frashad Tisby (Georgia Stars), former Grovetown guard Marcus Curry Jr. (Georgia Stars), former Westside wing Javan Webb (NY RENs) and others.

Riverview Park Activities Center hosted Session Four of the EYBL Summer Circuit for their first time since EYBL Nike Peach Jam came to North Augusta in 1996.

ESPN’s No. 2 ranked Sophomore in the nation, AJ Williams, is the third highest scorer in the EYBL 15U circuit for the Georgia Stars, averaging 22 points per game. Williams scored 28 points against Nightrydas and led the Stars to a 62-52 win at North Augusta Riverview Park on Saturday, July 12.

“It feels great to know were good enough and be able to compete against top competition in the country,” Williams said. “It is up to me to be able to make the right reads, so they got stop double teaming me or score when I need to.”

Williams is also the star basketball player for Dutchtown High School in Hampton, Georgia. He has led the Georgia Stars to a 11-1 record in the EYBL standings and helped his team qualify for Peach Jam.

“It is great to be able to compete with the best players in my state,” Williams said. “I feel like if we play together and play how we usually play, we got a shot at winning it.”. 

Nike’s EBYL Session 4 continued from July 9-13 to set the rankings for Peach Jam that begins on July 14-20.
