
Charmain Z. Brackett is the publisher of Augusta Good News. A graduate of Augusta University, she’s been a journalist for 35 years in Augusta, writing 32 of those years for The Augusta Chronicle. She’s also written for Augusta Magazine, the defunct Fort Gordon The Signal newspaper and Augusta Family Magazine. Mike Adams is an award-winning photographer who has shot for The Augusta Chronicle, Aiken Standard, The Augusta Press and Augusta Good News. He swept the Georgia Press Association’s sports photography category for 2021 and 2022 for The Augusta Press

Rakiyah Lenon, an Augusta University student and the editor-in-chief of the college’s newspaper, The Bell Ringer, is a correspondent and graphic designer.

Christopher Rickerson, an Augusta University graduate, is a sportswriter and has covered area sports for Augusta University, The Augusta Press and Augusta Good News.

Ron Baxley Jr. has written for multiple publications over the years including The Times and Democrat in Orangeburg, S.C. and Grice Connect, Statesboro, Ga.

Maxwell Shaffer is an Augusta University student.
